Network

Good morning everyone. Today i would like to share to everyone about my Computer Science project, Network Model. Network topology is refers to the layout of the computers and devices in a communications network. Netwrok topology categorized as physical topology which is the arrangement of cables , computers and other devices in a network and logical topology is the path that data travels between nodes on a network. There are 3 types of network topology : Bus topology Start topology Ring topology 


 We used Bus Topology for Network Topology. Physical bus topology consists of single central cable called backbone/trunk (road in the model) which connect all the nodes in a network using T-connector (stop sign in the model). A terminator to prevent the signal from bouncing back and forth on the bus cable. The reason why we used bus network topology because it isinexpensive and easy to install and failure of one node usually does not affect the rest of the bus network. After that, for Network Architecture, we chose Peer to Peer. We used Peer to peer network because its suitable for bus topology which is it does not affect the network if one of the node fails, After that , peer to peer is easy to set up. Lastly , we used Local Area Network because it related to the peer to peer network which is peer to peer is ideal for very small businesses and home users. LAN(Local Area Network)is network that connects computers and devices in a limited geographical area, such as home.
Our model is made based on the network in a house.
